Announcing Menifee's 3rd Annual Relay for Life®
Relay For Life®
... One day... One night... One community!
A 24-Hour Community Event… because Cancer never sleeps
Saturday, May 10th at 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Sunday, May 11th
in our Beautiful Paloma Valley High School Stadium
Come join us in the American Cancer
Society Relay For Life® of Menifee Valley May 10th & 11th. Help us to honor
cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives lost to the disease, and raise money to help fight it – all right here in our community.
Much more than a walk around a track, Relay is a time to celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember those lost and get inspired to fight back.
Those who have shared the same experience find common ground, hope and healing at Relay. By participating, you have the power to continue the American Cancer Society's progress toward a future where cancer doesn't take the lives of our friends and family.
Relay For Life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of runners or walkers keep a member on the track at all times during the event, (significance: because cancer never sleeps!) We need TEAMS, and people to donate their TIME, TALENT and RESOURCES. Throughout the event we honor survivors, and light hundreds of luminaria that are placed on the track in honor of those we've lost to cancer, those fighting cancer, and those who have fought cancer and won. Help us put together teams and help the American Cancer Society raise money for cancer research, education and services.
You, Yes You, can do something to save precious lives and help those battling cancer!

We are in need of more VOLUNTEERS! We are in need of more TEAMS!

To Our Cancer Survivors
Be part of our "Lap of Hope" Saturday morning at 9:00 .
We invite all cancer survivors in our community to attend the opening ceremonies of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. We encourage you to enjoy the day, make new friends, and celebrate! Please join other survivors in the inspirational Survivors Lap that officially begins our annual Relay For Life. For many, the experience of gathering together with other survivors is powerful and moving. Your family and friends are invited to join you during this celebration as well. Click here to view and print out a Survivor Form.

Ceremony of Hope Saturday Night at 9:00om
When the sun goes down, hundreds of luminaria light the way under the stars, and a moment of silence falls during the Ceremony of Hope. Luminaria are those glowing bags that to the naked eye appear to be nothing more than paper sacks filled with sand and candles. But upon closer examination these sacks are actually like people, each with a name and a story to tell. The Ceremony of Hope is one of the most special and moving events of the entire Relay. Everyone gathers around to remember those lost to cancer, support those fighting cancer, and rejoice with those who have fought the disease and won. Luminaria are available for a $5 contribution to the American Cancer Society.
